site-plan.

Using public transport
In town you can use a bus system running on a schedule with 5'-15' intervals.
Each bus has a number wich indicates its route.
From the main railway station ("Hauptbahnhof") take
bus no 51 headed south (signs read "Alpensiedlung Süd") and get off
the bus at station "Faistauergasse".
From there it is
about 5' walk to the faculty building.
From the airport take bus no 77 (stops right in front
of the terminal building) towards the city center.
At Ignaz-Harrer-Strasse
change to bus no 95 going to station
"Faistauergasse"
or continue to the railway station, change to bus no 51 and again follow
directions given above.
A one way bus ride is ATS 20, paid to the driver (transfer is free).
A taxi ride from the airport should be approx.
ATS 150-200 and will be much quicker
and easier than the public transport.
Using the car
Motorway A10 to the "Salzburg Süd" exit,
follow the signs towards "Salzburg"
for about 8km using the 4-lane road
"Alpenstrasse", at the second light after the Mercedes-Benz garage
(which is on your right), you
need to turn left into "Michael-Pacher-Strasse" at a kind of
semi-roundabout
where you first turn off right, then cross Alpenstrasse into
Michael-Pacher-Strasse. There is a green sign "Naturwissenschaftliche
Fakultät, Universität Salzburg" pointing into this direction.
Go till the end of Michael-Pacher-Strasse, you are right in front
of the university
building. Slightly to the left is the entrance into the basement car park.
If the turnstile is closed, use the phone on the drivers side to call the
attendant to open, otherwise proceed inside and pick any parking slot.
